Bungoma Wazalendo Rugby Finalise Their Preparation For A Potentially Explosive Friendly Against Mumias

The Patriots from Bungoma are finalising their preparations for their first clash outside Bungoma County this year, against their arch rivals Mumias ‘Imboko’ RFC in Mumias this coming Saturday.

The Patriots, commonly referred to as Wazalendo, have been in training since the Corona Virus restrictions were lifted, and are pumped up for the clash.

The last time the two sides met was in October of last year,in Bungoma, where Wazalendo won the rugby 10s match while Imboko won the rugby 15s match.

Clashes between this two sides, are nothing less than a spectacle, and fans are encouraged to come in their numbers to watch, albeit observing Covid 19 guidelines(wearing masks, social distancing and using their sanitisers frequently to clean their hands).

Wazalendo will be looking to improve on their performance from a fortnight ago in Mwiruti, and the head coach is certain that alot has been done to improve on the areas that let them down in their last friendly match.
